Joshua Guimond – “Justice for Josh” March (Part 4)

November 9th, 2009 | Tags:
The "Justice for Josh" march approaches Stumpf Lake on the campus of St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, Saturday, November 7, 2009. The march was organized by Joshua Guimonds family as part of a petition to law enforcement officials to redouble their efforts to investigate the disappearance of Joshua Guimond from the campus of St. John's University in Collegeville, Minn., on November 10, 2002 and to heighten public awareness of the unsolved status of this missing person case. Josh vanished without a trace from the university campus around midnight on Nov. 9-10, 2002. Investigators initially thought Josh had fallen into the lake and drowned while returning to his dorm room in St. Maur House from Metten Court — another residence hall on campus — where he had visited with other students for a card game. All lakes on campus were cleared by the Trident Foundation — the premier underwater search team in the United States — in May 2003, at which time its experts told law enforcement authorities that they could state with a high degree of certainty that Josh was not in any lake on campus and that the search should proceed elsewhere. The location where Josh disappeared is about six miles from St. Joseph, Minn., where Jacob Wetterling was abducted on October 22, 1989. Both victims remain missing and both cases remain unsolved.
